Default First viv. almost done..

I have almost completed my first viv.
All it needs is a rain system and orchids, either of which i am open for suggestion. So far the lower half holds at 95% humidity with a temp. of 87 F.
and the upper is 50-60% humidity with a temp. of 80 F.
Hoping this will hose my Azures darts on the bottom and a couple of chahoua geckos, maybe some shrimp or fish. Need some suggestions for small water plants too.

The viv looks great, WindWalker- a hell of a first, that's for sure.

Did you have any orchid species you were looking at yet? You've got a good range in humidity, so you have a lot to choose from. What are you using for lighting? That might determine what you're able to keep.

Thinking of a mini epaphylial (i think thats the spelling) orchids. there is a lot of cork and tree fern panel to stick'em too. and i can add sticks and such. Fragrent would be nice as the misses has stated she would like that. And lighting can change although i have a very versitle set of lights to work with and some on the shelf. Spots also can be added to the equation.

the white stuff is "old man's beard" lichen from blackjungle.com
one or two bags is enough I swear. ordered 5 thinking from their pic. that is was a lil' bit of lichen but its not. This viv has about 6-7 type of lichen at that, the lighting in the pictures does not do it justice. I selected some real sweet chunks of corkbark that where loaded with lichen.

live and learn hehe

Where are you located? Do you know whether you've got any good vendors close to you?

How about this place? Can't say I've dealt with them personally (they won't ship cross-border), but they've got some interesting stuff.
